President
- Attend Board of Director (BOD) meetings
- Exercise vote in all motions on the table
- Attend quarterly ISACA International Chapter Leader calls
- Responsible for defining, managing and reporting on the overall budget for general chapter BOD activities
- Develop, maintain, implement and monitor the chapter’s strategic plan
- Hold (a) strategic planning meeting(s)
- Preside at meetings of the Chapter and the Chapter Board
- Appoint all committee chairpersons and members
- Be an ex-officio member of all committees except the Nominating Committee
- Represent the Chapter at Leadership Conferences, Presidents Council Meetings and other conferences and functions, where appropriate or appoint another Chapter Board member as a representative
- Present an annual report to members at the Annual Meeting of the Chapter Membership – such report to consist of reports from various Chapter officers and committees
- Maintain communications with ISACA and respond to ISACA inquiries
- Be responsible for the submission of the required annual chapter reports to ISACA within 30 days after the Chapter’s Annual Meeting
- Supervise budgetary matters and proper internal control of finances
- Perform other duties as they pertain to the office of President or assigned by the Chapter Board
Vice-President
- Attend BOD meetings
- Exercise vote in all motions on the table
- Attend quarterly ISACA International Chapter Leader calls
- Support President in setting up logistical functions in support of BOD meetings
- Preside at meetings of the Chapter and the Chapter Board, in the absence of the President
- Perform the duties of the President in the event of his/her absence or disability
- Supervise event planning
- Perform other duties as they pertain to this office or assigned by the Chapter Board
Secretary
- Attend BOD meetings
- Exercise vote in all motions on the table
- Attend quarterly ISACA International Chapter Leader calls
- Take minutes of the meetings of the Chapter Board, membership meetings, and AGM, and maintain a copy of the records. Posts on document library to make available to all chapter Members.
- Maintain accurate attendance records at BOD meetings
- Be responsible for the legal affairs, Chapter records, and correspondence pertaining to the Chapter
- Lead the reviews of Chapter practices as compared to Chapter Bylaws as appropriate
- Assist the President and Vice President in the administration of Chapter membership meetings
- Perform other duties as they pertain to this office or assigned by the Chapter Board
Treasurer
- Attend BOD meetings
- Exercise vote in all motions on the table
- Attend quarterly ISACA International Chapter Leader calls
- Be custodian of Chapter funds
- Receive and disburse such funds of the Chapter as shall be required in the conduct of its affairs and the carrying on of its activities or as directed by the Chapter Board
- Remit dues to ISACA as required
- Ensure financial transactions comply with established financial policies and procedures
- Submit a written report at each regular meeting (Monthly and Quarterly)
- In concert with the President and Vice President, authorize expenditures from, or transfers of funds from/to, the Chapter US dollar credit account held with ISACA
- Oversee budget formulation and execution
- Submit annual financial statements for presentation to the membership at the Annual Meeting of the Chapter Membership
- Submit books and records for audit when required
- File any and all tax forms required
- Track that all insurance is current and paid
- Maintain QuickBooks and makes these records available for audit when required and supervises record keeping, as appropriate
- Perform other duties as they pertain to this office or assigned by the Chapter Board
Immediate Past President
- Attend BOD meetings
- Exercise vote in all motions on the table
- Attend quarterly ISACA International Chapter Leader calls
- Provide advice and guidance to the new President and Chapter Board
- Perform other duties as they pertain to this office or assigned by the Chapter Board
Membership Director
- Draft an annual budget in support of committee initiatives. This budget will be submitted to the Treasurer based on the announced deadlines
- Ensure that required tasks and initiatives are adequately staffed and appropriate deadlines are met. Additionally, provide cross-training as necessary to ensure seamless transitions
- Provide, at a minimum, a monthly status report to the Chapter Board. Any challenges requiring urgent attention should be immediately disclosed to the Chapter Board
- Attend all BOD meetings

- Initiates contact to welcome new members.
- Promotes membership retention
- Responsible for recognizing those who successfully passed the exam and those who become certified.

Academic Relations Director
- Draft an annual budget in support of committee initiatives. This budget will be submitted to the Treasurer based on the announced deadlines
- Ensure that required tasks and initiatives are adequately staffed and appropriate deadlines are met. Additionally, provide cross-training as necessary to ensure seamless transitions
- Provide, at a minimum, a monthly status report to the Chapter Board. Any challenges requiring urgent attention should be immediately disclosed to the Chapter Board

- Serves as liaison to local colleges and universities and promotes ISACA’s Academic Advocate program.
- Take the initiative and act in a lead role in developing relationships with local universities to support the chapter’s goals.
- Plan and manage Academic Events that further student awareness of ISACA, provide education and insight into the field of IT, Audit and Security
- Promote ISACA Student Group formation within the universities.
- Demonstrate the value of ISACA membership and help increase student membership in GWDC
- Explain the ISACA certification and certificate programs, the future career value of pursuing the CISA, CISM, CGEIT and CRISC certifications and the Cybersecurity Fundamentals certificate
- Working toward integrating the ISACA Model Curricula (Assurance and Security) and their concepts within the college/university
- Makes recommendations regarding sponsorship of college activities and represents the chapter on committees for joint events.
- Additionally, assists in making facility arrangements for the certification review course(s).
- Promote and serve as a source of information for ISACA certifications and general chapter membership.
- Perform other duties as they pertain to this office or assigned by the Chapter Board
Events Director
- Draft an annual budget in support of committee initiatives. This budget will be submitted to the Treasurer based on the announced deadlines
- Provide oversight of chapter CPE events or programs (Monthly Conferences and Special Seminars)
- Attend all BOD meetings
- Responsible for defining, managing, and reporting on the overall budget for Conferences and Special Seminars
- Work with Vice President and other board members for “call for speaker”
- Assist with negotiations for space contracts and book event space, arrange food and beverage, order supplies and audiovisual equipment, make travel arrangements (if required), order event signs, and ensure appropriate décor (to meet the quality expectations of the chapter).
- Conduct research, make site visits and find resources to help staff make decisions about event possibilities.
- Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process.
- Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters.
- Assist with managing on-site production and clean up for events as necessary.
- Prepare nametags, materials, notebooks, packages, gift bags, registration lists, seating cards, etc.
- Close out all events as required.
- Work with Marketing and Communications Directors to promote events and messaging for all programs
- Maintains a list of volunteers to assist with events

Corporate Sponsorship Director

- Administers sponsorship program
- Responsible for soliciting corporate funds to sponsor the chapter and the events

Certifications Coordinator
- Delivers review courses for the ISACA Certification exams, CSX, and COBIT® training activities
- Coordinates promoting the certification examinations and professional designations
- Draft an annual budget in support of committee initiatives. This budget will be submitted to the Treasurer based on the announced deadlines
- Ensure that required tasks and initiatives are adequately staffed and appropriate deadlines are met. Additionally, provide cross-training as necessary to ensure seamless transitions
- Provide, at a minimum, a monthly status report to the Chapter Board. Any challenges requiring urgent attention should be immediately disclosed to the Chapter Board
- Attend all BOD meetings
- Attend quarterly ISACA International Chapter Leader calls
- Responsible for defining, managing, and reporting on the overall budget for all certification review courses and COBIT training activities within established timeframes
- Ensures contracts are in place for instructors and facilities as required for certification review courses and COBIT training activities
- Coordinates the overall direction for certification review courses, CSX, and COBIT training activities
Marketing Coordinator
- Draft an annual budget in support of committee initiatives. This budget will be submitted to the Treasurer based on the announced deadlines
- Ensure that required tasks and initiatives are adequately staffed and appropriate deadlines are met. Additionally, provide cross-training as necessary to ensure seamless transitions
- Provide, at a minimum, a monthly status report to the Chapter Board. Any challenges requiring urgent attention should be immediately disclosed to the Chapter Board

- General oversight and responsibility of Marketing program
- Responsible for defining, managing, and reporting on the overall budget for all marketing activities within established timeframes
- Responsible for establishing and implementing a Marketing Plan for each fiscal year
- Works with President and Vice President in coordinating with International for marketing efforts
- Orders marketing materials from International, including updated brochures and other materials
Web and Email Administrator Coordinator
- Oversees chapter communications through external websites
- Oversees chapter communications through the ISACA Portal
- Reviews the portal for other ways to communicate chapter news and events
- Reviews the Chapter Leader Portal for information of use for chapter communications
- Updates the ISACA Portal for chapter events and announcements
- Works with other committees to obtain content for the chapter websites
- Updates events, articles, chapter information, and other content on the chapter’s primary website
- Updates event information on the chapter’s event management system
- Creates and communicates web surveys
Social Media Coordinator
- Responsible for defining, managing, and reporting on the overall budget for all social media, publications, and web content activities within established timeframes
- Establish, maintain, implement, and monitor the chapter’s communications plan
- Identify and develop messages to notify members and other audiences of chapter events, articles, and other activities and services
- Oversees the chapter’s social media presence.
- Publishes chapter events, announcements, and articles through social media
- Identifies strategies and new social media outlets for chapter communications
- Works closely with the marketing, Web admin and CVENT coordinators to ensure consistent clear communications to the members.
- Tailor messages to key audiences (members, non-members, the business community, academic community, etc.)
- Responsible for coordinating the communications and posting of chapter activities on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other venues as appropriate
- Distribute messages through available communication channels in a timely manner
CVENT Coordinator
- Responsible for managing the use of the CVENT tool to promote events.
- Works closely with the marketing coordinator and the social media and tools coordinators
- Assists with coordinating the communications and posting of chapter activities on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other venues as appropriate
- Distribute messages through available communication channels in a timely manner
Social Media Tools Coordinator
- Responsible for defining, managing, and reporting on the overall budget for all social media, publications, and web content activities within established timeframes
- Establish, maintain, implement, and monitor the chapter’s communications plan
- Identify and develop messages to notify members and other audiences of chapter events, articles, and other activities and services
- Oversees the moderators for each social media site to ensure posts from members and moderators are appropriate and that the moderators respond in a timely manner
- Responsible for coordinating the communications and posting of chapter activities on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other venues as appropriate
- Distribute messages through available communication channels in a timely manner
