The Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) program was established in 1978 to:
- Develop and maintain a testing instrument that could be used to evaluate an individual’s practical knowledge in conducting information systems audit, control, and security reviews;
- Provide a mechanism for motivating information systems auditors to maintain their competencies and monitoring the success of the maintenance programs; and
- Aid top management in developing a sound information systems audit function by providing criteria for personnel selection and development.
To assist our current and future members to become Certified Information Systems Auditors, the ISACA West Florida Chapter has provided two four-day classes a year. Learn from a certified instructor who has been there—taken and passed the CISA exam and works in the field of information systems every day. Gain from their experience, their techniques, and tips for passing, and their answers to your questions—which you can ask them directly.
This prep call will cover the current CISA job practice.
The last 5 years we have had a 90% exam pass rate for the CISA review course participants. Our local member chapter price for virtual is only $350 which is an outstanding value! Compare this to ISACA international training which would be at least three times that amount.
We also offer full-time university students that are members of our ISACA chapter to participate for only $50. All students must be a member of the West Florida ISACA Chapter to receive this benefit (the annual student fee is $25). As a reminder, student membership grants you all the same benefits as a regular ISACA member in addition to the benefits mentioned above.
This is a statement from a previous student: “I am glad I took your review class as it was essential in helping me to pass the exam. I would have wasted a lot of time studying the wrong way if it were not for the class.”
If you have any questions about the class please contact our Chapter CISA coordinator, [email protected].
